This is a chance to get away from the commercial areas and out to see a different part of Florida. Often referred to as “the mini Everglages”, this part of the St. Johns River is filled with lush green vegetation, alligators, wild cattle and water birds all living in their natural habitat, and needless to say the photo opportunities on this flight are endless.

We take off from Merritt Island Airport and head west to the St. John’s River where it meets with the SR520. We then track the river north checking out the abundant local wildlife. Once we have completed our flight over St. Johns, we then head east and all the way to Port Canaveral before heading south over Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. Returning back to Merritt Island is via the Thousand Islands and over the Banana River.
